Description

Many men and women have had their names linked to fashion design, transcending the realm of the sewing workshop to create the major brands we all know. Without exception, all achieved their status thanks to the women who inspired them, those who took their creations to prestigious media and the models who paraded their designs on catwalks across the world.

It is our intention to honour some of those we consider to have been and continue to be, crucial in the creation, dissemination and appreciation of the craft.

Each individual is marked by their significance over several generations having established themselves as trendsetters, epitomes of style and icons of female independence. Designers, magazine editors and models who are all undeniably themselves. Unclassifiable, unrivalled, inimitable, working to their own rules and philosophy of life.

We pay tribute through the work of two La Fiambrera artists to mark the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026. Branda (Óscar Brandariz) and Jorge Arévalo celebrate those who will be forever associated with the History of Fashion.
